I've been having very intermittent broadband for a few weeks and often it goes off completely. Two calls to customer support and both times I have too many devices connected- 12. However, none of these are used to stream NowTV which is subject to a 6 device limit. The devices include Sky boxes, Sky boosters and my robot mower and vacuum which are only used for an hour or so each a a day but customer support seem to think they're using all the bandwidth all day every day to the point when the router reboots which is technical nonsense and also proven incorrect by the router log.
Has anyone else experienced this and a similar nonsensical excuse?

I had a similar issue with my new Plusnet Hub One router.
Looking at the Plus Net WIRELESS SETTINGS, just below the menu are settings for 2.4ghz and 5ghz Wireless.
Select 5ghz, to find the button(s) marked, "Sync with 2.4 GHz:" YES/NO
Check (tick) the button marked NO
("Sync with 2.4 GHz: = NO (do not sync)).
This should provide better router compatability and functionality for your equipment.
