I've tried to use my now tv stick after a couple of weeks and it said it needed to update, have tried this but each time on restart just back to the same screen. Have tried a factory reset , again it says its doing the update but then when it restarts its back to the set up procedure asking which language i want, but soon as it connects to wi fi says it needs to update and off we go again. I've tried all the stuff on now tv not very good technical help

Hi, no I tried the update and disconnected, I can connect it and leave powered on if that's what it needs

I've now connected it and left it powered on at the page where it is trying i update the software

Thanks. You might need to reset it back to the start of that sequence by holding down the reset button on the stick itself.

Sorry been away while you made that comment, I've done the factory reset and left it powered on after reconnecting to the wi fi. It tried to do the update then tried to reset. It's currently got the white light on solid but with a blank TV screen. So I've left it exactly as it is. Thank you again for trying to help

Do you have any other devices you can use for NOW?
Could be an unfortunate sign that the stick has reached the end of its course?
The stick isn't the best as it is and NOW for a while have no longer been making their own devices. Worse case buy a Roku or Amazon stick. As long as it's listed as a supported device in this link.
