The router ONLY gives you internet. If you want to watch something using a NOW membership then you MUST have a supported device, otherwise you'll need to buy one.
NOW no longer make or sell the sticks or boxes. So don't assume you're getting a free device.
See this link for supported devices, if you don't have one, then the recommended is Amazon Fire or Roku sticks.
