Nowtv box takes an age to connect

Hello,

 

I have a small black now tv box and when I turn it on it seems to take an age to connect to the Internet. I often have to restart it multiple times and the little white light on the box keeps flashing. Any suggestions how to get it to connect a bit quicker ?

When you say turn on the NOW box is that by switching the power onto the box or just hitting a button on the remote from standby?

 

I always leave my NOW boxes in low energy standby mode.

 

You could try a different WiFi channel or different WiFi band if your Router has both 2.4 and 5ghz functionality.

 

Or you could try an Ethernet cable if practically possible in your home setup to see if there is any improvement.
