Android app stops after 15 minutes

Hello,

 

Have a box, and the LG TV app with no issues, but I've always had some kind of problem with the android app. Lately it only streams for 15 minutes at a time before simply "NowTV has stopped working" appears. Submit a report, or restart the app, continue streaming, and it's like the clock starts again.

 

Running Android 8.1.0.

@Anonymous User that sounds like you have a power saver setting that's set to sleep the WiFi/4g and/or specific apps when the phone is idle for 15 minutes. 

 

A quick look online shows that Samsung's in particular are factory set for power saving mode which people complained was stopping music streams at 15 minutes.

 

There are lots of resources on Google but you'd have to search for results specific to your make of phone.
