Remove kids TV from my device please!

My kid has become addicted to kids TV over the summer, as something I agreed to try I figured it was worth the extra and would have been continuing.  But it is too much content not all of it is really appropriate especially Cartoon Network.  I originally got now TV to save me from kids DVD mountain then entertainment  coz of kids section which was fine as it was.  I have Amazon fire to be able to set limits and age appropriate content I wish I could pay more and choose a kids lite version, oh that sounds like what you sold me before!  I think you should bring back the basic kids service to entertainment.  In the meantime the pass is cancelled. Please remove it I do not want it on my TV anymore.

Hi @Anonymous User,

Provided your 'Kids' subscription has been cancelled correctly, you wont receive any further charges.

If you don't want anybody to accidentally 're-start' the monthly service, I suggest you set-up a 'pin code' on your account.

Cheers

And just-so other NOW TV customers know: -

  • All monthly NOW TV subscription(s) will run for their full duration, even if they are cancelled after the first day.
  • All monthly NOW TV subscription(s) will 'roll on' automatically if they're not cancelled prior to any 'free trial', 'voucher pass' or 'monthly' subscription expiring!
  • 'Free trial' subscribers are notified by email that they will be charged unless they cancel their subscription(s) prior to their 'free trial' ending!
  • While the NOW TV accounts system is attempting to collect payment(s) the grey coloured 'Canel' button will not be accessible.
  • While the NOW TV accounts system is attempting to collect payment(s) the 'Apply Voucher' button will not be accessible.
  • New NOW TV voucher code passes can be added within the last month of your current NOW TV services expiry date. The new pass will commence only after your existing pass expires. So you don't lose-out on any days.
  • Setting up a payment PIN on your NOW TV account is advised. As it will be prevent others from purchasing additional NOW TV services without your consent!
  • Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the NOW TV subscriber to manage their NOW TV account!

Well I understand in principal a service remains on your account until the
end of a pass, it is a process now TV has defined. As a consumer I
believe there should be a manual override in my account to remove a service
which is not wanted from a trial subscription. I already have a pin. It's
this lack of flexibility from a service provider that sells itself as the
flexible option in the market....which is why I perceive Now TV is falling
short.

You  will find the same with most providers.  I can't stop the shopping/kid channels  appearing on Virgin  though I can stop the adult channels appearing.

You could just change the password, though I guess if you have another pass and watch on a Now TV box it wouldn't make any difference.

Don't mind me butting in but I don't see how kids tv is "inappropriate" if you're gonna say it is all in Regular Show you might want to google "Regular Show UK edits"
