The Rookie leaving

Is the rookie leaving Now Tv on January? It says "Watch until 8 Jan" so it has me wondering if they'll be getting rid of it until season 6 comes on

Yes, Now do that.

Sometimes because the rights expire, sometimes because they decline to pay for the content any further - due to low take-up and other issues - and sometimes because they need the bandwidth back for other programmes.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

The show is produced by ABC (Disney) and Entertainment One, so it depends who does the UK distribution rights. As it might end up on Disney+.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

If did say 'Watch Until 8th January' , It doesn't now , it's distributed by now Lionsgate owned EOne who are the lead studio, will soon be part of the new 'Lionsgate Studios' company.
