If your new service is also FTTC, no need to cancel, the new provider will do it.

Switching broadband provider - Ofcom

If you are moving to a full fibre or cable (Virgin) provider you will probably need to cancel with Now.

I believe you need to give 30 days notice of cancellation.

Moving your phone number to your new provider will automatically cancel your service with Now , i would strongly advise that if you want a landline/phone service with your new provider oand/or your new provider has a phone service that you sue this process to cancel Now.

Your new provider will trigger what is called a number port, and you will/should get a message from Now saying something like sorry to see you go that process is automatic and you should not need to contact your losing ( old - ie Now) provider
