Cancel broadband membership before it goes live

Hi, If I cancel broadband before it goes live, do they still charge me some cancellation fee or whatever? and I have canceld by calling them but on the site, it says they stopped my cancelation.

No there shouldn't be any charges. It might be worth calling them again if you haven't had positive confirmation that you have cancelled the order.

I had the same problem so I called them again and they said they would cancel on the day I am suppose to go live??? I have had nothing confirming my cancellation to prove it is within the 14 day cooling off period and now the the 'cancellation in progress' and 'stopped cancellation' notices have disappeared. I am going to call them again tomorrow to get this sorted.
