Charged for a service i did not choose

Hi All

 

I recently came back to NOW after many years away, i took up the the 6.99 deal for 6 months on the entertainment package. That was on the 3rd November, today the 10th i find that i have been billed 9.99 for cinema and the boost is now active and this was going to charge me 6.99 tomorrow. I have cancelled both of these additions, but i am now down 9.99

I Have tried to sort out a refund online and it appeasrs that i cannot talk to a real person, so iahd to use "THE BOT", if this is AI we are safe. 

This my transcript

No worries. They often bundle in a free/trial period along with other offers. Do let us know how you get on.

To bypass the bot and talk to a human click on the green Chat online button near the top of the page here. It looks like you signed up to a bundled offer without carefully checking all the details. You won't get a response from NOW on here.

Hi Thanks for the reply

I signed up to entertainment only, and was charged for 6.99 on the 3rd of November, and then charged 9.99 today for cinema. If i had signed up for the full package at the time i would have been charged the full amount on the 3rd November. I realise that i would not get a response on here, although their system does seem to push you towards the community, i just needed to find a means to communicate with a real person. So hopefully i can now do that using the link you have supplied, thank you.

all sorted thank you, did not get an actual refund just a credit against my account, so thats perfectly fine.

I have exactly same issue.. I have took up the the 6.99 deal for 6 months on the entertainment membership in the September and  yesterday I have noticed that   I have been   billed for Cinema and boost  as well.

All offers on the website come along with boost as a 7 or month free trial. They do seem to be pushing for both cinema and entertainment memberships to be shoved in there. In my view just merge them already so it's a single offering outside of Hayu and Sports. 

Play the cancel game and you will get some good discounted rates. Which is why I am paying £3.99 for cinema and £2 for boost a month just now.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

I have the same problem. How did you get a credit/refund. The chat box just keeps replying it does not understand
