Cancelling previous broadband provider

Hello! Transferring from Sky Broadband to Now Broadband. My kit has been deivered and an engineer is visiting on Friday.

Do I need to tell Sky I’m transferring and to cancel my service or is it automatic? (I’m outside my sky contract and have already set this up with Now TV a few weeks ago).

You should have contacted NOW who would have done the leg work for you.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Thank you. Oddly enough, in the help article they don't list Sky as one of the providers where they would handle everything automatically. In the past when I've switched between BT and Sky I didn't have to do anything so just assumed it would be the same case here. However I haven't heard from Sky at all, they haven't acknowledged i'm actually leaving, hence why I'm worried.

I'll give them a call tomorrow to be on the safe side.
