Can't watch on iPad despite having a free device slot

My iPad was listed as one of my devices, but when I tried to play something it didn't let me, saying 'sorry, you've already used your four devices.'

I deleted the iPad as a device, and now I only have 3/4 chosen.

Yet, when I log in on the iPad, it still brings up the same message and refuses to let me watch.

Any ideas?

Im having the same problem its august 1st yet i cant watch on my iPad it says i have to wait till October 1st
