Why is the NowTV app on the Xbox One TERRIBLE compared to the Roku and other hardware?

For some reason the menu system on the Xbox One NowTV app is TERRIBLE compared to the TV guide style NowTV menu system on the Roku NowTV app... WHY?? It's almost unusable compared. I've made a video to explain what I mean:

I know exactly what you mean and find every app on the Xbox One is appalling when compared to either PS4 or Roku Devices - i personally believe it's due to the fact every app for XB1 has to be designed to incorporate the 'Kinect' which has detrimental effect to all of the apps making them have a big blocky GUI's for people who own Kinect Devices and unfortunately until the Kinect is dead and buried it won't be fixed until possibly the next console and we have to live with the 'Playschool' design.

Plex and All4 apps are especially bad on Xbox One but are perfect on PS4, unfortunately Microsoft seem to think they know better and won't listen to feedback - I'd stick with your Roku !

Hi H

If you've had any dealings with Microsoft products and their faults you would know that Microsoft believe that the always know best, e.g. the so-called replacement for MS WinXP, Vista.

Everybody that used Vista hated it, and only when the big corporate companies refused to buy it by sticking with XP did MS relent, extend XP's shelf life and released Win7.0, a much better Win O/S.
