Video quality keeps dropping

I have a very fast broadband connection, average about 40Mbps, wired directly into my Xbox. When watching NowTV the quality is fine for a while, then becomes really pixelated. This keeps happening and ruins all programmes and films. I recently got a 4K TV and it's even worse when the screen goes pixelated.

I don't have this problem with Netflix or Amazon Video.

Any solutions other than Sky getting more servers? Which I can't provide...

Thanks,

jayrdi

I've had this in the past even though Netflix and Amazon work fine.

Weirdly switching off my modem/router for a few minutes then reconnecting fixed the problem with NowTV

Thanks, yeah I do that every now and then anyway. The router is running software like a computer and so by rebooting it every now and then you clear the memory and cache and resets the software to a good working state.

This is what I mean though, the internet speed is great (between 60-80Mbps), the router is fine - the only problem must be with the NowTV service...
