Now tv not working on xbox one

Now tv will not work on xbox one. Tried installing and uninstalling multiple times, hard reset multiple times, clearing cache multiple times. Still no joy

I've just tested the now TV app for Xbox one and its working fine for me. Your now the second person I've seen today that having problems

What error message if any are you getting when you try to use the now TV app on Xbox one? Also, who is your ISP and how is your Xbox one connected to the Internet. What connection speed are you getting at this moment in time. and if applicable what content are you trying to watch?

I'm not a member of staff that this information might make it easier for a member of now TV staff to help you

I know you're on virgin media, but this post from @Anonymous User might still assist you as there is some advice in their which isn't related to having BT Internet

It seems there are some issues with Xbox live at the moment

It's possible these issues could be affecting nowTV because any content that you watch/download on Xbox one on nowTV has to go through Xbox live. Although the only problems mentioned relate to buying downloadable content on Xbox live and browsing content catalogues

No firewall and now no status alert from Microsoft and still not working and may i suggest that seeing as you dont work for now tv you stop replying to my posts and let someone from now tv sort this out

@commanda6 is just trying to help you get back up and running, I understand your frustrated but there is no need for that tone of voice.

Have you made sure that your location settings are set to UK and that your Xbox is fully updated with the latest software.

If you could also do a reboot of your router and make sure that the Virgin Kid Safe and Virus safe are disabled.

My account is not working on Xbox one either. Have reset several times and turned the Internet off and on. Have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app but sadly still no joy. Trying to use through you view now but it's only coming up with movies

Quickly discovered that, and not coming up with an error code, it just says somethings not right and then about going to look for updates.

Did you manage to get this sorted?  I have the same error code.  It's not my xbox and no idea how to uninstall or re-install apps!

Thanks for posting.

Follow these steps to uninstall the app then reinstall:

1. Highlight the NOW TV app then press the Menu button (3 vertical lines) on the controller.
2. Choose Manage App, Internal then Uninstall App.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi,

Had a similar problem with my xb1, but i have 2 xb1's , one was connected wireless, the other wired. The wireless worked fine, the problem was with the wired connection. swapped it to wireless and have had no problems since.  It was not a fault with the connection itself, because other apps such as Amazon Prime worked perfectly on the wired connection. For whatever reason, the Now TV app doesn't like a wired connection to my xbox.

I settled down for some Game of Thrones on the xbox to be told the app needed an update. It'd now updated and just goes to a black screen with an eventual error code of 0x8027025a. I've reinstalled the app and reset my router and xbox. Do you test the app before releasing updates? I'm now stuck having to avoid GoT spoilers until you sort it out.

Having this issue as well.

Come home to watch GoT. Went to launch NowTV and it said it needed updating, it updated now it won't launch and gives error "0x8027025a"

Reinstalled it, rebooted it, rebooted all internet related equipment.

ALL other apps are working perfectly fine.

Same club as others, XBox app needed update and now it is completely borked, does no one do testing on these updates before applying them it's obvious that it has broken the XBox one app.

We have also just sat down to watch GOT.....updated it as requested and then got the blank screen....un-installed it and now it won't let us install it again. Gutted!!!
