I have just logged in to Now TV on my Windows 10 laptop to watch a programme, and on clicking the play button I was informed that there was an update to the Now TV Player.
Being a well behaved, do as you're told sort of computer user, I upgraded and now can't watch anything!
Every time I press play, I get an error message telling me that:
The procedure entry point
?get_builtin_module@node@@YAPAUnode_module@1@PBD@Z could not be located on the dynamic library
C:\Users\Loki\AppData\Roaming\NOW TV\NOW TV Player\Now TV Player.exe
This means nothing to me whatsoever, but clearly there is something amiss with the updated version of the Now TV Player.
I have uninstalled the player, re-installed. Turned my laptop off and on again - all the usual stuff - but it still doesn't work.
Please could anyone advise?
Many thanks,
Stuart

I have an Intel graphics card in my laptop, an Iris 6100.
When I try to watch NowTV, the CPU usage goes up to 30% and then once the error message pops up, it gradually reduces to below 5%.
I have downloaded the NowTV app from the Windows Store and it thankfully, it works. I have to say that I would rather log in and use NowTV via Firefox - it's just more convenient for me - but the stand alone, Windows Store version of the player will do for me for now.
Thanks
Stuart
Thanks for the info @Anonymous User. Helps a lot. I know what you mean wiht regards to using the Windows Store app. Everyone loves handiness and being able to choose what way to watch. I'll still report this back but for now, at least you've got it working one way or another.
Cheers
Tony.

@Anonymous User D Installing the Windows Store version of the player is all well and good until you want to watch Live TV.
I want to watch Game of Thrones on Sky Atlantic when it's first shown!
I've been on live chat with someone for the last half hour trying to fix this issue, getting nowhere. This is ridiculous, we're all paying our subscription fee and not able to access the full service! Any sigh of this being fixed any time soon???

@Anonymous User What happens when you try to watch Live TV if you don't mind me asking. Does it work when you try to watch anything on demand?

@Tony-DThe Windows Store version works when I try to watch on demand, but there just simply isn't the option on there to watch live TV. It's for movies and on demand only. The only way to watch Live TV is through the NOW TV website, with that silly player that doesn't work.

This is the Windows NowTV App from the Microsoft Store on my Tablet / PC software version 1.19.0.2
Does your app look similar to the pictures below ?

Still failing today...
This is getting a bit silly now. Can someone from NowTV even acknowlege that they've seen this issue and are looking into it?

I am having this same problem.
I am afraid I don't know what my graphic card is, I also don't know my CPU usage - nor do I know how to find these things out.
It seems this service isn't user friendly - your customers shouldn't have to have that level of technical knowledge to use it.

I've already switched one device this month and am having this problem. If there is no fix for the problem imminent, is it possible I could be able to switch another device in order to be able to use the app?

Same problem. If I update from the app it gives point of entry error. If update manually, it just says it needs an update. NowTV doesn't exist in my Windows Store. Internet Explorer 11 isn't available for my Windows 10. NowTV doesn't support Edge or Firefox. So basically I am paying for a service I cannot use now?

Hi @Anonymous User
Can't help with the NowTV player, where i don't use it myself.
If you are using a Windows 8.1 or above device, maybe try this link below to access the dedicated Windows NowTV App from the Microsoft Store.
