Keep getting "There's an error connecting, please try again in a few moments. Service updates can be found on our community." when I try to play anyhing on my PC no explanation and i can not see any service update to assist.

After some more searching of the internet I found this page https://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110815080230AAeVTRC 

and managed to fix the issue. I know it's for Sky Player/sky Go, but it worked for me. I just followed the instructions in the second answer down.

I hope this continues to work.

I am having this issue too. I really wanted to watch a programme tonight on live tv and I just get the message 'we can't seem to get started at the moment. Please update th eapplication from the google store. There is no update available. Is there a prblem with the site?  One very unhapy customer

Can you please let us know if you have tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the app store?
