Now Tv Player Stutter

I have bought a sky sports pass for the week and the now tv player stutters continually. I have reset my router and checked the speed of the internet which is more than enough.

Is there an issue with the nowtv app? The current sky sports stream is unwatchable.

Welcome to the forum.

There's currently three ways to watch on a Windows machine, using IE11 with Silverlight installed to watch in-browser or using the NOW TV Player helper app with other browsers. More info here

or the other alternative is to download the NOW TV app from the Windows Store

If you're getting nowhere with the Player helper app try one of the other methods to see if it works better for you.

I've just started a trial of NowTV online. Downloaded the Now TV Player- surprised it won't just play something online like other players. Tried to watch a movie - stuttering constantly - restarted several times, and the laptop several times.

On the instructions for Chrome it says downloading the Now TV Player is the way to do it. Didn't work, so cancelling.

Absolutely useless! This issue has been going on for years and you still have not managed to fix it!!! Every few minutes it stutters as if it’s having a ###### panic attack! Seriously sort it out! Otherwise will be cancelling my subscription
