I was promted whether I needed to download the player and I mistakenly clicked no, but I do infact need it and I cant find anywhere to download it.

What windows version are you on? If windows 8-10 then the better option is just to open windows store and search for the NowTV app to download - it's free and much less hassle than using a browser.
