wifi signal drops to zero every few seconds

I've had my nowtv hub 2 set up for quite some time and over the last few weeks the 2.4ghz  wifi signal (the one I use) has been dropping to zero every few seconds. The power signal looks like a sawtooth a lot of the time, I've been monitoring it with an application on my laptop whilst standing just 3 meters away in direct line of sight. Needless to say it's unuseable. I've rebooted and reset the box but the problem persist.

Any suggestions?

the nowtv hub 2 signal is p3a-577-ext in light blue. This isn't showing it at it's worst, sometimes it drops twice as often and sometimes it stays at zero for a few seconds. I've corroberated the behaviour by monitoring it with applications on  my laptop and mobile device.

I think I’m suffering from the same issue. What is the WiFi analyser tool you have been using? Did you get any fix from NowTV for it?

I used inssider for windows https://www.metageek.com/products/inssider/free/

and

wifi analyzer for android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farproc.wifi.analyzer

Instead of getting my router changed I connected another  router to the nowtv router via network port and used it to create a wifi network.

Your option is to get your now tv router changed by now tv. I don't recommend buying your own replacement router as I've researched it and it can be a bugger to get it working with nowtv.

Good luck
