slow internet speeds but the Now TV online checker says it's fine

I am getting slow internet speeds. Sometimes as low as 1.2mb. Sometimes a router restart works, other times it doesn't. It's the same via wifi and ethernet. The Now TV online checker says the connection is fine and will not show me contact details. This started a few weeks ago when I switched to now TV. I should be getting speeds of around 38mb. How do I contact Now TV?

For the broadband are you getting poor speeds over Wi-fi or ethernet? If it’s the former you should try splitting the bands.

And useful though some say splitting the bands might be, it’s not going to make his internet 30 times faster.

And haven’t we had this ‘my-internet-speeds-are-in-the-toilet-but-Now’s-checker-says-everything-is-fine’ scenario often enough, with real faults being subsequently found by Openreach, to make Now doubt, and hopefully revise, how their checker works? 😢

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
