the phone line doesn't work but the broadband does. The Phone line used to work but now there is no dial tone and if you call the house it rings on their end but is silent in the house.
I have been going round in circles on the NOW website looking for help, but the line test says there is no issues and so back in the circle of looking for help.
I would really like to speak to a human, but there is no contact number or anyone manning the chat bot (that only cares about tv)
There isnt even someone to complain to. Terrible customer service. Can anyone provide me with a number of someone who will look to see what is wrong with the phone line?

There is beyond countless threads with the contact number for broadband and landline support. If you do a search on the latest thread you’ll no doubt find a link to the number.
Anyway my cranky rant over and sorry! Haha
This link should point you in the direction to show the status of your line.

Which then you’ll be able call support using the number from the below link.

Thanks. It is all made the harder that I am doing this for my parents remotely (I am supposed to be at work) and I am sure the line tests are just testing my connection, not the one at the address specified

I hesitate to ask, but do they have a suitable handset plugged in, and the filtering issues sorted with either the right type of Master socket, or one or more microfilters?

You'll be able to run the line check whilst there.
