keep getting message cannot connect

Hi all,

 

I keep getting a message saying cannot connect when trying to go to any website page after doing a google search or clicking a link

however if i type in the exact web page address in the address bar it works first time

 

Does anyone know what's going on please

Hi @Anonymous User

Have you just switched to NowTV Broadband / Fibre service ?

If so, have you tried switching off or changing the age rating of your broadband buddy setting by going to My Account on here and selecting Settings & Pin's where the default setting is PG 13 that would block certain websites.

Hi,

 

I did look at that but it was all fine however i did plug in a ethernet cable directly to my laptop and found that for some reason that seems to have fixed the issue
