@LisaWhite

Are you a NOW broadband customer?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

The category this was posted under would indicate ‘Yes’, though nothing is guaranteed, of course.

@LisaWhite

Do you have other devices that can connect to the internet OK?

Can you turn your smartphone into a WiFi hotspot, and see if the iMac can see the internet that way?

If other devices can use Now Broadband OK, and the iMac can’t connect even over the WiFi hotspot, then you have an iMac issue you need to take up with Apple, not Now.

If other devices can’t connect to Now either, and the iMac can connect fine over the WiFi hotspot, then you have a problem with Now broadband.

If so, or the issue is neither of the two alternatives above, come back for more advice on how to proceed,

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
