It depends on what internet/phone service was in the property before.

Is there a BT telephone line already installed in the property ?
Under My Account > Broadband & Calls > Orders & Appointments does it say "Self Install" .
This usually means that there will be no Engineer Home visit needed and on your live activation date and you can install the NOW Hub Router yourself on the scheduled live date given.
Though i have come across on a few occasions where forum members who was on a "Self Install" and during the live activation date BT Openreach have come across a problem when working on the street cabinet and found that access to the property is needed ( this happened to my Dad, but luckily he was home at the time on the live activation and BT found a fault on his master BT telephone socket).
