Your start up date can be delayed.

My start date was supposed to be yesterday but I discovered this afternoon that it has been delayed for nearly a fortnight. “Nothing we can do; it’s your previous provider that has delayed the switch.” So much for the “we’ll do the switching for you” guarantee. My previous provider’s router now doesn’t work and it’s up to me to sort it out. Can’t say I’m particularly impressed!

Call the broadband team to see what can be done, NOW are fully reliant on OpenReach for any connections. Number to call is in the link below.

Thanks for that but I spent 20 minutes on the phone and got nowhere. It wasn’t their fault - nothing they could do.
