Wifi6

I considering buying a Wifi6 enable laptop and realise that the standard router that came with the account will probably not help. On the assumption that I also buy a WIfi6 router can I use that router with my NOW broadband?

Does anyone know of any issues with this plan?

No issues, but you will need to make sure the router is compatible with Sky_Mer  connection type for ease of connection (I believe most new ASUS and TP-Link modem/routers are)

The only thing is, as Now is an FTTC only provider, is Wi-Fi 6 really worth it? Standard Wi-Fi is capable of far more than that.

Get the laptop for future proofing, Wi-Fi 6 is fully backward compatible.

Edit: Another option may be to turn off the Wi-Fi in the router and get a Wi-Fi 6 access point.
