Have had this problem since installation a month ago. Basically every time I connect to the network I get a normal speed for a minute or so, and then it's as though it's throttled and it dips to less than 1mbps.
It's only on my MacBook; the other devices are fine (around 35mbps). I've called technical support but they can't suggest everything I haven't already tried (moving closer to router, switching channels, rebooting, unsynchronizing 2.4 & 5ghz in wireless settings, resetting DNS, etc). I know it's not the laptop as I've never had issues on other networks.
NowTV won't send me another router as they're supplying a 40mbps connection.
Any ideas what else I can try? Thanks.

@Anonymous User have you tried any of the Apple communities as they are more than likely to have come across this before.
A quick search on Google the below link is the first match for 'Mac wi-fi throttled'. Have a read through but just that 1 search throws up hundreds of possibilities of why it's happening. You'll just have to work through the solved posts.
