Wi-Fi password incorrect

Hi 👋 I’ve just received my router. Activation is not Inuit 15th but I thought I’d connect to Wi-Fi to see if works. Can’t connect with any device with the password provided. I don’t have an Ethernet cable to change the password. Any ideas? Cheers

You shouldn’t set the router up until activation day.

Your Hub will arrive a few days before your line is activated. It'll be delivered by Royal Mail, and we'll give you a link to track the delivery.

You'll need to wait until your line is activated before setting up your Hub.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

The wifi password should be on a sticker on the back /bottom of the router.

What service provider were you with at the property before signing up to now?

In the unlikely but not impossible situation in which the password on the sticker is wrong, see if you can use WPS between one or more of your devices and the router, ideally one with a browser on it, and then change the WiFi password to something you can use.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
