Why is the activation date so late when I don’t need an engineer?

I move into a new property on 8th Sept. But the earliest activation date I could get is 11th Sept. Then I was emailed and told it was getting pushed back to 12th Sept.

The thing is, there is already an active phone line, so it doesn’t need an engineer visit. The hub is arriving today, so why can’t I just use the Internet the day I move in? Why does it take 4 days to remotely activate the phone line? Is it not just a flick of the switch from Now Tv lol?

Hi,

It's usually a two week activation with or without an engineer.

So you are tecnically one of the lucky ones to get an activation within 4 days :).

Unfortunately it's not as simple as a flick of a switch!

Hope this helps
