Turning wifi off when not at home

As the title says really.

My son is at college and I want to turn the WiFi off when he has to leave the house. Can I remotely access the WiFi while I'm at work to turn it off?

TIA

No idea to be honest, see what options you get when you are logged into the router.

  1. Connect your Hub to your laptop or computer using an Ethernet cable.
  2. Open your web browser and enter "192.168.0.1” in the address bar.
  3. Select Maintenance and enter “admin” and “nowtv” as the username and password.

Yes you can do this by turning on remote management in the Now hub.

Goto Advanced section, then select Remote Management .Should be easy to follow from there.

That's great. Huge thanks for the pointer.

I've turned remote management on now. Apologies as I think this is a silly question, but is disabling the WiFi remotely now as simple as clicking the "none" option from "everyone"?

Edit: no, I tried that. It said I can't as it needs at least 1 protocol.

I just want to turn the home WiFi off while I'm at work.

Figured it out, much to the teenagers disgust, as they were mid game.

Thanks again for the help. Much appreciated.

Curious as to why you would want to/see a need to do this?
