Turning off DHCP

Hello Now community!

I have turned off all WiFi capabilities on my Now hub as I am using a Nokia beacon as my router to improve the coverage in my house.

However, this is now causing an issue as devices such as my Xbox are telling me they are receiving multiple ID addresses (I think both the Nokia beacon and Now hub are allocating their own IP addresses).

Will turning off the "Use Router as DHCP Server" setting in the Now hub solve this issue and allow the Nokia beacon to do all of the allocation for me?

My end goal is to have the Now Hub act as much like a modem as possible!

Thank you in advance for your help 🙂

Yes, certainly.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
