Third Party Router

Tried setting up a Netgear Nighthawk but unsure what to enter for ISP username and password.

Is there a solution to this?

Does this work with any 3rd party router or only with the Nighthawk?

I am trying to upgrade my Now Broadband router to a TP Link C2100 Archer VR 600 model due to the extremely poor WiFi signal. I am aware that the line is subject to SKYMER and that any Third Party router requires to be compatible with option 61?. As I don't at present have a laptop or a desktop just a smartphone and a tablet, could you kindly confirm if the TP link is fully compatible and as to how I can link it up as I have tried various options to date including TP Link Tether App to which identifies that everything is setup correctly but I have no internet access with the red light on the router permanently. If it is definitely compatible, if you could sent me on step by step instructions of how I can configure the TP link to work with Now Broadband. Thankyou.
