Hello I have a bit of an issue,
Last month I moved into my new flat ready to start uni with my three other flatmates and because of the virus it has been all over the place. Anyway basically we found this wonderful deal for broadband and were over the moon. Since being installed earlier this month we have experienced a complete lack of connection! In 3 out of 4 bedrooms there is no signal; we can't move the box because there is only one master port in our flat and that is all! With uni fast approaching, and the current situation we find ourselves in, we won't be able to have the zoom call lessons and such especially not in the same room. I don't think that is fair either as we are all paying for the wifi but some of us can't even use it if we are in a different room.
I hope someone can help because it seems there is no support on this issue with the live chat and there is no email address for me to get in contact with.
Solved! Go to Solution.
There is only ever 1 Master Socket in the house, be it OPENREACH or Sky.
Your provider is only responsible for providing broadband to this socket.
Google for "plug in wifi extenders"
That's nothing to do with NowTV.
I'd suggest investing in some WiFi repeaters to boost your signal in the poor areas.
