Are you a Now TV broadband customer?

What device are you using to watch iPlayer?

It might sound daft, but have you turned off your router for a bit and turned it back on?

Same could work with your TV, by unplugging at the mains and back on again.

They might work as it’s a matter of “resetting” the systems.

Hi, no it’s not a daft suggestion at all as I only ever turned off the router previously and not the tv. So now turned both off at mains and for last hour or so no message about lost connection!!

I haven’t watched iPlayer yet but will do later.

I’ll keep an eye on things and let you know if I get the message again.

Thank you.

Unfortunately turning both tv and router off completely and plugging in again has not solved the problem. Message still appears in screen throughout the day when the TV is on.

So any help to stop the tv from disconnecting/connecting to internet would be appreciated.

Could it be a faulty router?

That’s a shame to hear it didn’t help.

It could be a faulty router, worth giving the broadband team a call to see what they say. The 0800 free from number is below (in the link)

https://help.nowtv.com/article/how-to-submit-a-broadband-complaint1

How to submit your complaint:

  • Give us a call on 08007591213 to speak directly to a NOW TV advisor.

Another option if it’s believed to be the TV, what sort TV do you have?
The reason I’m asking because I’ve often found that setting the TV back to factory settings can resolve most annoying issues. It’s extreme yes but proven to work.
