TV Interference

Have just moved to NowTV and using a hub two router. When I turn the router on it blocks all the freeview TV signals, which return when I turn the router off. Have tried moving the box with no effect and limited as TV socket is next to the phone socket. Spoke to nowtv who are adamant it is not the router causing the issue, but everything worked fine with our previous router. Anyone got any solutions?

Make a little video showing what happens to the TV picture as you switch the router on and off.

Submit it to NowTV.

it sounds like there is some kind of earthing fault here, which NowTV will need to get BT Openreach to attend to, and a bit of backup to prove the fault will not go amiss.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
