Switching to Now Broadband from Virgin media

Hi all,

I hope nobody asked this question before as I haven't found an exact question.

I have just ordered the broadband and I still have my current broadband active with Virgin media.

Is Now Broadband going to contact Virgin to make the switch or do I need to contact them myself ?

My appointment to get the new broadband and landline installed is scheduled on the 30th May.

Thanks,

Alinemae

I'm sure I posted this before, but it seems to have disappeared (happening a lot on here)

As well as cancelling your Virgin yourself, I would leave a good cross-over period in case of delays.

Also do you have a BT/Openreach socket in the property and how long is it since it was last used?

You will need to contact Virgin yourself.

I would leave a cross over period in case of delays. if fact personally I wouldn't cancel Virgin until now is up and running. (yes I know that will be extra expense, but I could not face the possibility of no broadband for a while)

You also need to consider the following. Do you have a BT/Openreach line into the property? How long since it was last used?
