Still no internet after engineer visit

A engineer visited and installed nowtv hub at my property, and confirming that the broadband would work before the midnight. However, when I wake up this morning and test the line, nothing happens. The internet still cannot be accessed. The broadband still does not work, although the three green lights blink on the hub. A little disappointed! Waiting half of month for the installing, and get nothing!

Get in touch with the Now Broadband team on the number in line 1 of my sig below.

 

They have woken up now, and will have had their first coffee.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Thanks very much! I called the now team according to the number that you gave me. They get my problem and say sorry, but I still need to wait probably few days for the technical check and test. Can’t they solve the problem today? So much wait. Frankly to say, a little disappointed!

Is this a new line and new install,  or did you have a previous Openreach internet and phone service before now , such as BT, Plusnet, Talk Talk etc ( but not virgin)

Anyone can help me to solve the problem? Or since I do not get service from NowTV broadband, can I cancel my purchase now? So much wait, still no service......

You need to keep pestering the broadband team using the number you called from @RoyB 

 

NOW however are fully reliant on OpenReach to setup and maintain the network. So if you decide to leave for another provider you’ll most likely have the same issues your facing.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Is this a new install, or are Now TV taking over form a previous provider - other than virgin media?
