Slow Broadband Speeds in Long Flat

I live in quite a long flat. The master socket is in my son's bedroom which is at the opposite end of the flat to my lounge, around 20m. The wireless speeds in my son's room are 60mbps but in my lounge I'm lucky to get 10mbps. I currently use a wifi extender so that I can get signal at all in the lounge. Is there anything I can do to speed up the wifi in the lounge?

Hi @Anonymous User

Not a lot you can do when it comes to wifi strength at distance unfortunately unless you are using a 5GHz connection. If your using 2.4GHz that would give you the best speed over distance as opposed to 5Ghz giving a much better speed at shorter distances.
