Hi @Anonymous User

The NOW Hub 2 Router doesn't offer the newer wifi security encryption WPA3.

Thank you Schnapps.
I’ve read the chain but still not really understanding it tbh. My Now Router is two years old shall I ask for a newer one to get max security? Is there anything I can do to my existing one to make sure it’s set up as securely as possible?

sorry I’m not very tech smart!

It is not a problem and few routers support WPA3 at present. As long as you have WiFi Security mode set to WPA2-PSK only and Encryption to AES you will be fine. Apple are being a wee bit over zealous.

Hi @Anonymous User

Don't know if this linked internet article below gets rid of the message.

The NOW Router is a clone of the Sky Q Router and when accessing the NOW webpage Settings use admin and nowtv instead of admin and sky on the Sky Router.

I suspect you are using Apple devices. There is nothing wrong with WPA2, Apple are just being paranoid.

If it really worries you, get a 3rd party router, they will probably all support it now.

It will be in the WiFi settings of your router. Login to it by going to http://192.168.0.1, the default username is admin and the password is nowtv. It may only be a question of checking, rather than changing it.
