My elderly neighbour’s router drops out repeatedly every day - every time we speak to someone at Now, we go through the same rigmarole of line testing, resetting etc - BT have even been out twice.
It’s incredibly frustrating and sadly, she renewed her contract without me know so she’s stuck on the contract and getting any sort of resolution seems impossible.
She has very, very limited technical knowledge and I’m not much better - it’s so frustrating to feel like we never get a solution to the issue.
You can check the status of the line. In the same link try doing a factory reset to the router.

It is possible there is some form of fault in the line maybe as far back as the cabinet. So I would ask for full line investigation.
