Router awful and no signal

Hey guys,

Moved from Now from Plusnet and previously Sky. No issues beforehand.

But now we can't seem to get internet anywhere that's not in the same room as the router, and it's driving us nuts.

Phoned NOW and gone through the troubleshooting online but it's just not great. The speeds in the bedroom are okay, but connectivity in any other room is nonexistant and driving us nuts.

 

How can I find out if my contract is month to month or annual as I want to cancel.

If you didn't pay £60.00 up front when you joined, you will be on a 1 year contract.

Do you still have your old routers? If so, what models are they?

The performance (or lack of) of the Now router is well known.

Why would you cancel over a rubbish supplied router, when there are options out there to improve things significantly ?

Three possible fixes:-

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
