Phones keep losing connection to hub

Hi all,

We've had our NOW hub for about two months so far. The signal often drops, and our phones will lose connection to the router and go to 4G, which isn't good for our bills! We've tried setting the bub to different channels and separating the signals as suggested, but no joy. The hub is in the hallway , raised up about 2 metres-ish, and we had no problems like this with out old BT router. Can anyone share their wisdom on this one? Many thanks in advance.

As others will point out, I've no experience of the Now hub, but it would appear the Wi-Fi on it is very poor.

I would consider replacing it with your own router, or adding an Access Point or possibly a mesh.

Thanks so much. I'll look into it.

When I had NOW it was in a small 1 bedroom flat, and thought it was ok, but nothing great. Many users say that their connection is vastly improved when they invest in their own router to use as @Jayach says.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Thanks; I'll look into it. Bit shoddy though, eh? Never had any of this with the BT one!

Hmm, but I guess the reason you swapped to Now was price, so maybe that explains it?

I have the same issue, I have a main hub that overnight just stopped broadcasting WiFi and even the cable doesn't work on my gaming console. The only way to get WiFi is to connect to my wifi amplifier, that just doesn't make any sense to me. Why can I get internet from the amplifier and not the main router...
