Phone number not on telephone directory

Hi, on other providers you are asked if you want your phone number in the phone directory or not. How do you find this out. Thanks

Sorry, how do you find what out?

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

The simple answer, @Daz1 , is to phone Now’s broadband and phone support line and ask them. The number is in your paperwork.

I know my phone number as I have brought it from my old supplier. I mean as in if someone looks up my name and address and can find my telephone number. I do not want my number being in the telephone  direct.
