Phone fault

Anyone come across an intermittent fault when dialing out "number not recognised"? Then after a few tries it finally works?

Do those retries succeed using last number redial, or only by manual redialling?

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Hi @Anonymous User

If your phone keeps a record of the last few numbers dialled, try comparing these with the number that worked.

Sorry. What would the objective be in that? Shouldn't this just work like
it did with the previous provider?

It will enable you to establish that there really is a problem, and not just the fat fingering I do all the time.

Ah OK. It was actually my wife who found this issue after manually
inputting the number several times over 2 or 3 days. Eventually it worked.
Does anyone know of a phone number for NowTV existing customers? So far
they seem to run a fairly "faceless" operation...

Thx

Hi @Anonymous User

Theres a number Broadband customers can call, which you should have been given when you joined, if you are indeed a broadband customer, and you think that being with NowTV Broadband has affected your POTS service going down the same telephone cable. Which is plausible at least.

But if you don’t have it to hand, then chase your problem down from here:-

Get in Touch (all the options, and the best place to start):-

https://help.nowtv.com/gb/get-in-touch/

On a screen with big buttons all around, you may find the link you need is under a tiny green arrow, so be vigilant.
