Patchy broadband performance

We have the fastest available NowTV DSL (FTTC) service. Most of the time the performance is what it should be but several times a day the connection gradually degrades to the point where Speedtest shows less than 2Mbits down, 0.7Mbits up and a ping time of more than 100ms, after which the connection drops out. I am unable to use my TV passes during this period as the picture quality is so bad. I am keeping records of when this happens.

 

Is there a proper tech support address or ticketing system where I can report this  or is my only option some infuriating chat bot or other?
