Openreach strike action

I'm currently one day past my activation date with no WiFi yet. Discovered that Openreach have been on strike Friday and Monday and I wondered if anyone knows how much this is impacting the wait time for faults to get looked at? Now broadband haven't communicated with me at all.

Worth giving the broadband team a call. However I’m not sure what else they would be able to tell you.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

I already have but thank you. They've been very polite but all they can say is that they've escalated it to Openreach and I need to wait a minimum of 72 hours for them to contact me. I feel a bit of an idiot for leaving my old provider just to save money.

When you say no Wi-Fi, I assume you mean no internet. What are the LEDs on the router showing?

Did you cancel your old provider, or did you leave it all to Now?

If it is due to the strike, then I wouldn't have expected the old supplier to be disconnected until Now is connected up, as both those are down to Openreach and carried put at the same time.

You're not alone, my live date was 02 August, had Openreach engineer in and told me that it will all be connected that day. Here we are two days later still no broadband. Now customer service have escalated it. But no correspondence from anyone letting me know whats going on.
