Now tv hub 2 no internet??

Hi,

 

I had an engineer visit at 1pm today who set up the line and also set up my router for me. I have just realised (30 minutes after the call centres have closed :/) that I don’t have an orange light for internet on my router. There is no light at all. Does this mean that my internet will not go live by midnight as expected?

 

This couldn’t be more inconvenient as I’d expected to resume work  from home this afternoon and had resigned myself to catching up on my hours later and starting tomorrow instead. Having browsed the forum it now looks like my internet may not even be working at all by midnight? Is this correct, should there be an orange light?

 

sorry for the ramble but I’m now extremely stressed! Thanks in advance for any help

Same with me.  It's a problem with their network.  My phoneline is perfect.  It's been fine for 7 months, until recently, only two weeks ago when they've been causing me problems.

 

They seem to be mucking about with the line.. when I login to the router it says:

 

Jan 1 00:00:34 syslog: [ 34.019000] Line 0: xDSL G.994 training

...and the date always reads jan1 they couldn't even setup their router properly I'm so fedup with this nonsense i've had to burn £40 to get BTWifi for 30 days

 

They had better sort this crap out otherwise I'm just going to cancel without notifying them I can't put up with this much longer I've already wasted £40 to get a bearable signal outside my house.  I depend on Internet to stream TV programs and news.

 

They are in breach of contract they are not delivering what I have paid for and it's getting worse, no internet for a solid 3 days now...

I’ve been on the phone with them this morning and apparently they need to send another router out for me to check it’s not a router issue before they investigate further! I’m not a muppet and I know it’s not a router issue, I’m now unable to do my job and can’t even give a rough date of when my internet might be working. I’m absolutely kicking myself for choosing to have my internet with now, they’ve even taken the first months payment and I don’t even have a working service!

its the same fore me. disastrous performance, continually dropping.
