Now router 2 DNS Does not resolve anything.

@Anonymous User All,

Just started using the NOW router and the thing does not resolve DNS at all

can not use a browser like google/edge. I have looked t the setting on the router and for some reason I can not change them to an external DNS having to set this in the browser.

It basic but no DNS then what's the point of this device as it provides little service.

While having weak WiFi and only two Ethernet ports comes up all the time regarding the Now router, not having any DNS is something I haven’t seen before.

As you have looked at the settings, what is the router showing for DNS?

And are your remote WiFi devices showing the router’s IP address in their DNS settings?

If not, what are they showing?  But if they are showing the router’s IP address, do things improve if you manually set an external DNS device by device?

Armed with this information, ring Now Broadband on the number you have been given for this, and see if they think you maybe have a faulty router.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
