Now broadband hub only has 2 yellow ports

Hi

just got my new hub but it only has 2 yellow ports, I need 4 what can I do?

What i have done is use a unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch with my NOW Hub 2 Router.

 

Usually they are either 5 port or 8 port and start around £15 from places like Amazon / Ebay etc and are normally plug & play if they are the unmanaged type version.

Something like this will do the trick (see Amazon link below), where the 5 port Gigabit option will allow four connected Ethernet devices (remaining Ethernet port is used between the Ethernet switch and the NOW Hub 2 Router.

 

Should you have between 5 to 7 Ethernet devices then look at the 8 port version.

That should be 6 to 8 Ethernet devices, because there will still be a port available on the Now router.😉
